"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" Piano Solo
This laid back, relaxed arrangement of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" was created by Jim Brickman. You can find the sheet music for it HERE. I usually play it to kick off the evening when I'm playing background music for holiday parties. It's definitely a fan favorite. Jim Brickman has some really beautiful Christmas arrangements available for intermediate level pianists. They are easy to learn in a few weeks, but they don't sound beginner-ish...they sound festive and, well...for lack of a better word...Chill. Yes, I am definitely too old to be using the word "chill" in a sentence, unless it's "Please hand me my sweater, I feel a chill coming on."
Wishing you a Merry Musical Christmas!

West Loop Wedding Walk | February 2023
What an amazing time we had at the Fairlie and the West Loop Wedding Walk last weekend!
I played my harp to accompany the enchanting violinist, Tiffany Moore. We serenaded newly-engaged couples as they meandered among the many wedding vendors at the lovely Fairlie Wedding & Event Venue.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to interact with so many creative & inspiring wedding vendors. “Vendors” doesn’t even feel like the right word - they are ARTISTS!
We were surrounded by incredibly beautiful displays of flowers, tablescapes, photography, fancy food, lovely decor and anything & everything for a gorgeous wedding!

About
I began taking piano lessons at the age of 7, and practiced on an old green upright piano out in the garage.
I played for my first wedding when I was 9 years old. Since that day, I have played hundreds of weddings and special events, and I've taught thousands of piano lessons to students of all ages.
I have never gotten over the awe that music holds for me. Playing the piano is as natural as breathing air to me, and I cannot imagine a day without music.
I taught myself to play the harp when I moved to Chicago in 1996. Chicago is home to one of the world's finest harp makers, Lyon & Healy Harps, and it has been a privilege to own numerous harps carefully crafted by Lyon & Healy.
Enjoying 40+ years of working in the music industry has been the joy of my life. I'm so grateful that I get spend each day working with other musicians, teaching people how to develop the gift of music within themselves, and providing music for life's special occasions.
It has been a marvelous musical journey, and I am forever indebted to Mary Hughes, organist at the Patterson Baptist Church in New York, who saw something in a little 7 year old girl that prompted her to pay for my early lessons. Her generosity was used by God to put me in music ministry, and I am eternally grateful to her and to God for a life full of music!
